Frequently asked questions

Why is Grow London Local running these events?

Grow London Local is committed to helping small businesses thrive in London. These networking events are designed to bring business owners together, raise awareness of free support available in their area, and build stronger, more connected communities.

How do I find out where the next Coffee Friday is being held?

We host Coffee Fridays on the first Friday of every month, and each event takes place in a different part of London to support local communities.

Do I need to prepare anything before attending this event?

No preparation is needed! Coffee Fridays are relaxed, informal networking events designed for entrepreneurs, founders, and pre-start ups to connect and share ideas. Feel free to bring your business cards, but it’s completely optional.

Are 1-1 consultations available during the event? How do they work?

Yes! You can express interest in a 1-1 consultation during the event. Our Business Support Manager will then schedule a follow-up session with you, either online or in person, at a time that suits you.

Do I need to already have a business to attend? What if I just have an idea?

Not necessarily! Whether you're a pre-start up with just an idea or an experienced founder, you're welcome. These events are a great way to hear real stories from other entrepreneurs and get inspired to take your next step.
