About this Event
A wealth of expertise to be shared in an open and relaxed atmosphere, albeit with social distancing: part inspirational talks, part conversation. Be motivated hearing from experienced practitioners sharing their career journeys with you. An opportunity to ask questions and discuss matters of concern. To feel encouraged as to what the future of our industry may be.
With some interesting anecdotes along the way our speakers are:
Saturday 12 September: Annilese Miskimmon, Artistic Director of ENO; Isabella Bywater, International Director/Designer/Artist & David Pritchard, Production Manager (ex ROH).
Saturday 19 September: Jamie Vartan, International Theatre/Opera Set/Costume Designer; Andreas Skourtis, Architect/Scenographer/Lecturer & Catherine Morgan, Set/Costume Designer/International Associate Designer.
Saturday 3 October: Tom Piper MBE, Theatre/Opera Set/Costume/Exhibition Designer; Prema Mehta, Lighting Designer/Stage Sight Founder & Bek Palmer, Theatre/Opera Set/Costume Designer/Prop & Puppet Maker.
Saturday 10 October: Christopher Oram(via video link); Colin Richmond & David Farley - all International Theatre/Opera Set/Costume Designers.
These events will be compliant with Covid Health & Safety practices and will be supported by a team of SBTD committee members.
Tickets are also available for a Zoom live stream of each event for those unable to attend in person.

Aimed at early to mid career designers, however, all career levels welcome including recent graduates.
