Event description

Description

Join Liverpool-based Iranian rapper Farhood and Between the Borders member Grace Harrison to discuss how music, poetry and spoken word can be used by artists to drive change. Farhood and Grace reflect on how these media become the mechanisms to present refugee and asylum seeker issues in society.

Farhood will be performing at the Journeys Festival Weekender on the 15th October, in Cathedral Gardens.

Part of Journeys Festival International, Manchester, 02 - 15 October. The festival celebrates the talents of refugee and asylum seeker artists, sharing experiences through great art and culture.

Join the conversation at @JourneysFest & #JFIMcr on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
