Event description
Continuing our series of informative coffee mornings, we'll hear how COVID-19 has affected older people and what we can do to help.

About this Event

Coffee with Capital Mass is a virtual coffee morning for church and community leaders to meet and chat about issues they are seeing in their local context during the COVID-19 lockdown.

It’s an hour together, aiming to be a safe space to talk, ask questions, listen to each other's stories and find out more.

Each time we’ll invite in expert wisdom and experience from our friends and partner organisations, to add a richness to the conversation.

This coffee time, we're delighted to be joined by our guest speaker, Carl Knightly, CEO, Faith in Later Life.

We’ll have an hour where we can explore the issues you are facing on the ground, learn from each other, share questions you have, and gain wisdom as to what you can practically do next.

We will send you the zoom link; you bring the coffee (cakes and biscuits also welcome!), and we’ll host a space for conversation, questions and support with help from our expert contributors. Together we will navigate these areas and learn more about how to respond with compassion and urgency.

Because we want there to be room for everyone to contribute we are limiting the number at each session so booking is essential.

If there are no places left, please do put your name on the waiting list and we'll contact you if places become available, as they often do.
