Ahead of the forthcoming publication of Cognitive Dissident, an illuminating, provocative but also accessible meditation on topics including culture, class, mortality, post-punk ethics and a disappearing London in the face of rampant consumerism, Matt Johnson and Jason Wood will be in conversation.
The book includes ruminations on Matt’s beginnings in music and his pioneering work as a songwriter, performer and soundtrack composer. Cognitive Dissident also covers THE THE’s hugely successful Ensoulment album and Ensouled world tour.
There will also be an opportunity to pre-order the book, which will be published in 2026 by Omnibus press. All ticket holders will be contacted directly ahead of the Fesival in order to ensure each has priority access to this highly anticipated publication.
