Event description
Cognitive Orientation to Daily Occupational Performance (CO-OP) Course led by Dr Dido Green at Norwood Kennedy Leigh Family Centre in London

About this Event

CO-OP is a therapeutic treatment approach for people who have difficulties performing skills. From children with DCD to adults recovering from stroke, CO-OP is a highly individualized approach designed to enable the use of cognitive strategies to reach his or her performance goals. It is a therapy that guides individuals to discover and develop cognitive strategies to enable the performance of personally important skills such as writing, skipping, bicycling, shopping, laundry and other necessary or important activities of everyday living.

Norwood's Occupational Therapy Service will be hosting the CO-OP course which will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of January 2020, with a follow-up consolidation day to be held in April 2020 (date TBC).

Places are extremely limited. Attendance costs £400 for all three dates and includes the CO-OP manual, lunch and refreshments.

Please email Tanya.Rihtman@Norwood.org.uk to enquire about availability and registration forms. Alternatively, register via Eventbrite and the organizing team will make contact with you directly.
