There are many positive benefits for both the beneficiaries and staff involved.
CST can be used in residential settings, community, care homes and day centres. An understanding of CST is the perfect basis for any activity planning for people living with dementia including in the arts. It can be used in groups but also on a one to one.
This course is delivered by founders of Memory Matters, Kate Smith and Laura Walker at their award-winning cafe and dementia hub in Plymouth.
Kate and Laura have been delivering CST for over 10 years in both residential and community settings. They are passionate about increasing access to this beneficial dementia treatment recommended for ALL people living with mild to moderate dementia by the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE)
This course will:
Provide your staff with the skills to plan and run effective CST groups.
Give your organisation the ability to offer CST which will gain measurable results in cognition and quality of life for your clients.
