Speaker Biographies

Morven Shearlaw
Morven is the Director of Fearsome, an award-winning, multidisciplinary product development team.

They work with a broad spectrum of companies and organisations, unearthing new opportunities for market impact and developing these into production-ready solutions.

Dr Maria Stukoff
Maria is the newly appointed director for the Maker Space at the University of Salford. She was previously head of digital at the BBC Academy and head of Sony's PlayStationFirst.

Angela Ireland
Angela is director of MILK Cafe, a social enterprise that supports refugee and migrant women. The company offers pre-employment training, English language classes and creative workshops that encourage women to build support networks and grow in confidence.

Gurjit Singh Lalli
Gurjit is the curator of TEDxGlasgow and is an entrepreneur with global experience. He has a keen interest in philanthropy and developing social venture capital firms.
