Overview

This annual one-day symposium is structured around real patients with cancer, highlighting their overall journey and their interactions with healthcare professionals. The topic for this year’s conference is colorectal cancer. The session will draw from the expertise of various specialists in the multidisciplinary team, facilitating open and interactive discussions regarding their roles.

Intended Audience

Aimed at all undergraduate students from any healthcare specialty, with an interest in cancer

What to expect

• Hear from world-leading expert oncologists, nurse clinicians, radiotherapy practitioners, physiotherapists and other members of the wider multidisciplinary team surrounding head and neck cancer care.

• Engage in interactive discussions with speakers, including opportunities for Q&As

• Gain an insight into real patients’ experiences and their journeys

We are inviting poster abstracts for this study day on all areas of cancer. For poster submission gudielines please click here :Collaboration in Cancer (christie.nhs.uk). Please send your 250 word abstract to the-christie.educationevents@nhs.net . All abstracts should be submitted by 5pm 24th May 2024
