Event description
This talk considers the ethics, methodologies and reworkings of socially engaged photography and collaborative practice.

About this Event

Using an experimental panel model, our speakers attempt to break down accepted dichotomies and narrow histories in photography to consider artists using collaborative, multi-authored and participatory techniques. We consider the responsibility of representation, the ethics of engagement and politics of participation while encouraging the fair audience to contribute to the conversation.

Speakers include photographer Marysa Dowling in a conversation chaired by artist, writer and educator Anthony Luvera, Associate Professor at Coventry University and editor of Photography For Whom?.
