Collaboration: Breaking Down Barriers to Efficient and Effective Working Between the Emergency Services

Collaboration: Breaking Down Barriers to Efficient and Effective Working Between the Emergency Services

Conference Chair: Philip Seccombe, Police and Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire and ESCWG Chair

The Emergency Services Collaboration Working Group (ESCWG) was formed in September 2014 underpinned by the principle that change should be centrally supported but locally driven. The group provides strategic leadership, coordination and support to improve and promote emergency services collaboration.

During the last year, ESCWG has been developing a repository of good practice which will be made available through a live, interactive platform. The initial results of this work will be presented at this conference. You will also have the opportunity to hear from a range of speakers about the progress that has been made to embed the Duty to Collaborate across emergency services as well as discuss and debate emerging trends in emergency collaboration, helping to shape the future direction of ESCWG.

Date: Mon 23 April 2018

Location: Home Office, 2 Marsham Street, London, SW1P 4DF

Please note: The conference will begin at 10.00am. Security at the Home Office is Airport Style and as such photographic ID will be required in order to pass through security. To keep the day running smoothly, delegates are required to be at security for 9.30am at the latest. You will then be escorted to the conference venue.
