Event description

Description

Would you like to understand more about collective intelligence?

Are you looking to get the best out of your multi-disciplinary teams?

Softwire’s event Collaboration Drives Innovation will be exploring these key issues and equip attendees with the vital skills to drive excellent digital engineering projects.

A common myth of innovation is that a lone genius discovers a breakthrough. The reality is that the majority of innovations require smart, highly motivated, highly communicative, diverse teams of people, empowered by strong leaders and efficient processes.

Join us at Shoreditch house for talks, a panel discussion and networking. Doors open at 13:30 when a light lunch will be served. Talks will commence at 14:00 with time for networking after.

Speakers:

Belden Menkus

Belden's talk will focus on how empowerment and collaboration work together to help organisations fulfil their potential.

Belden is the founder and Managing Director of MenKus & Associates. He works with leadership teams to help them realise their organisation’s goals.  This includes helping them develop a purpose-based strategy, designing and putting in place a robust, agile management model, and building empowerment in their senior management layer.  Belden started his career with McKinsey & Company, where he worked with clients in the UK, Europe, US and Japan across a wide range of service and manufacturing industries.
