Event description

Description

The education landscape continues to evolve rapidly – the combination of government reforms, including the autonomy agenda and amendments to the Ofsted framework, is placing greater emphasis on school to school collaboration in all its varieties. Whilst collaboration is nothing new to schools, the range of issues on which schools have to collaborate and the importance of working together to the success of their learning community have changed significantly.

Schools must be “intelligent browsers” and be highly selective about potential partnership structures if they are to secure the best possible outcomes for their children and young people.

This half day event will introduce you to the widely acclaimed ‘Nottingham Schools Trust', 'School Co-operative Trust' and 'Cadmus Federation' models of collaboration, which are seen by many as the way forward.

Speaker from Browne-Jacobson one of the UK's leading educational law firms and school leaders from the trusts and federation will outline the benefits of their collaborative models.

The event includes a buffet lunch and networking opportunity to discuss any questions and queries raised through the event.

The event is aimed at head teachers and chairs of governors. Tickets to the event include the entry for two delegates, inclusive of lunch.
