What is this course about?

The SFHA are delighted to offer a series of Procurement Skills Training Courses, funded through a collaboration with Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA).

Collaborative Procurement

This session will provide you the understanding and importance attached to collaborative procurement is not be under estimated. The Scottish Public Sector spend around £11 billion per annum and Scottish Government are adamant that saving and better VfM can be achieved; thus collaborative procurement.

Collaborative procurement is about achieving VfM through partnership, tandem working between buying organisations, pre-tendered frameworks, Centres of Expertise (CoEs) and suppliers to secure benefits from economies of scale through harnessing combined sector purchasing power. You will learn ways of achieving collaborative procurement and achieving increased VfM through all these areas.

How do I book a place?

This training is FREE to attend.

Booking is limited to:

  • SFHA members only (Includes subsidiaries/social enterprises)
  • SPA members

Places for each training session are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Places are limited to a maximum of 2 people per organisation for each topic

The training will take place at SFHA's offices in Glasgow city Centre.
