About this event

Pay As You Feel – all funds go back into supporting our gallery and workshop programme

Collage has long been a radical medium. It disrupts, subverts and reimagines – tearing apart the expected and reassembling something powerful. From Dada and Surrealism to feminist zines and protest posters, collage has always been used to challenge the status quo.

In this hands-on session, you’ll use the tools of collage to explore themes of solidarity, resistance and self-expression. Be inspired by our Art of Protest exhibition, and contribute to a collective conversation through cut-outs, layering and juxtaposition.

Together, we’ll break down hierarchies of art and power. We’ll mix everyday materials with personal stories and political messages. And we’ll remind ourselves that to create is to resist. No experience needed – just curiosity, community and a willingness to experiment.
