Practical workshop aimed at individuals & teams to develop the practices that support collective leadership

About this event

All Collective Leadership for Scotland events are participatory and have participant engagement at their heart. Therefore, access to a microphone and ideally a video-camera is a requirement to participate in this session.

About the Session:

Where do you start?

This is a practical 2-hour workshop that is aimed at supporting individuals and teams to develop the practices that support collective leadership. Experienced facilitators from the Collective Leadership for Scotland team will offer some practical guidance on how to design and facilitate meetings that support a collective leadership approach. You will gain most out of this session if you have attended the first workshop of this series ‘Introduction to Collective Leadership’.

We know we face many complex issues that require a collective response: addressing the attainment gap; children’s wellbeing and mental health; child poverty; mental health needs; reducing inequalities in healthy life expectancy; climate change etc.

We also know that no single Government policy area, community, organisation or agency can tackle these alone. We understand that we must work collectively to effect change, and that this work is often complex, messy, unpredictable and difficult to achieve. We know that creating the time and space to work collectively can be challenging. Day-to-day work can override our best intentions, and we can remain stuck in our traditional habits and ways of thinking and doing.

Collective Leadership for Scotland is hosting these 2-hour workshops for individuals and teams to help support working collectively.
