Evening ‘Make & Tell’
15th December, 4-6pm
Come and meet Collective Matter and find out more about their Tate Exchange project; an opportunity to tell your stories and connect with others in your community, through conversation and making.
Play with clay and tell us what you know and how you feel about your local area.
Open to 14-25 year olds.
Collective Matter is a new outreach art group, initiated by Eva Masterman, Mary O’Malley and Katie Spragg. Brought together during their time at the Royal College of Art on the Ceramics and Glass MA, they aim to use clay as a primary vehicle for critical engagement, cross-disciplinary practice, and creative communication and experimentation.
This project is part of a six-month residency programme with Tate Exchange; Material Action. Produced in conjunction with Tate Modern, Pump House, Beaconsfield and Gasworks, this project revolves around the changing narrative of the Nine Elms and surrounding areas of South-West London.
