Description

Join us for the College's inaugural Symposium in Physical Sciences, Engineering and Design, held at the TramShed Cardiff on Thursday 10 May, 2018.

The event features speakers nominated by all seven Schools, with lectures designed to cater for a broad audience. There will also be poster sessions from the College's PhD studentship, College partners and space to interact with colleagues over lunch and refreshments.

Our list of esteemed speakers includes:
- Professor Peter P Edwards, University of Oxford (School of Chemistry)
- Professor Janusz Kozinski, Founding President and Chief Executive, NMiTE (School of Engineering)
- Professor Marialena Nikolopoulou, Director of CASE Research Centre, University of Kent (School of Architecture)
- Professor Emily Rayfield. Bristol University (School of Earth and Ocean Sciences)
- Professor Rick Stevens, Associate Laboratory Director for Computing, Environment & Life Sciences, Argonne National Lab (School of Computer Science and Informatics)
- Professor Helen Wilson, Professor of Applied Mathematics, University College London (School of Mathematics)
- Professor Gillian Wright, Director of the UK Astronomy Technology Centre (School of Physics and Astronomy)
