Our COLLIDE matchmaking event connects founders with tech-savvy individuals to collaborate and start great businesses together.

How it works

Our COLLIDE event encourages individuals with a wide range of business ideas to pitch their ideas and market opportunities to an audience of tech-savvy individuals.

Those tech-savvy individuals are invited to listen to these ideas with the opportunity to connect with founders and explore collaboration and co-founder opportunities.

Why we’re doing this

We know that one of the biggest barriers to starting a tech business is developing the technology, especially in cases when founders have great ideas but lack the technical know-how to implement them.

At our COLLIDE event, we aim to connect tech-minded individuals (aka potential co-founders) with people with business ideas in order to help them create brilliant businesses together.

COLLIDE is part of Sunderland Software City’s enterprise programme, which aims to support the creation and growth of digital/tech startups across the North East of England.

Many of us within Sunderland Software City have been in your shoes as part of a start-up business or as part of the wider tech and start-up ecosystem around the UK. We are human, we are here to listen, chat, and to help you on your journey.
