Colour Confidence Workshop: Explore, Mix, Create
Join us for an in-depth colour workshop where you'll discover what colours speak to you and how to use them with confidence in your art. We will meet every successive Tuesday for six weeks for a whole day class which will give you plenty of opportunity to work on your own between each class.
You'll start by finding colours you love through simple collage work and learn to mix your own colours using the CMYK system. We'll practice matching colours, creating light and dark shades, and making a wide range of greens - one of art's most important colours!
As we continue, you'll explore how different colours work together, develop your own personal colour palette, and test how these colours interact. By the end, you'll create colourful landscape art that pushes your creativity, using paint and other media.
This workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to better understand colour and make more exciting colour choices in their artwork. No prior experience needed - just bring your curiosity!
You will be sent a small list of essential materials you will need in advance of the course.
