This course will introduce you to the basics of using colour, working from both still life as well as a life model in order to discover your own inspiring colour palette.

Over the 7 sessions of this course you will learn how to lay out a palette and mix colour so that your paintings have a sense of balance and harmony. You will also gain an understanding of hot and cool colours, complimentary colour and working with greys. You will explore colour through pencil, collage, printmaking, as well as oil and watercolour learning a variety of techniques for applying the paint.

The course will give you confidence to use colour and brighten up your artworks.
