Colour & expression: Debussy, Gershwin & Rachmaninov

To round off this three-webinar series which focuses on some of the piano’s greatest repertoire, Samantha Ward first talks you through Debussy’s well-known Prélude, La Fille aux cheveux de lin. She will then turn her attention to Gershwin’s The Man I Love, as well as showing you how to work on Rachmaninov’s stunning Moment Musical No 5 where a supple melody line needs to project over spread left-hand chords throughout.
