Colour Fun Run 2025

About the event:

To celebrate the end of the academic year and mark the start of summer in an active way, this is your event to attend. You can run or walk the 3km course at your own pace, there are 5 locations along the route where colour will be thrown at you as you run past!

The route consists of grass and gravel paths, if you can please wear a white t shirt to really soak up the colour!

· Free and unlimited use of large inflatable games, bungee run, giant dartboard

· Free finisher medal to remember your epic day

· Free travel to and from Wide Lane via UniLink (more travel information below)

What to bring

· If using the UniLink Dayrider bus ticket you must bring clean clothes to change into after the run.

· Bag drop off area and changing rooms are available on-site.

· Water bottle (refill stations are available on-site).

· Sunglasses (to protect your eyes from the colour powder).

· Please do not bring high value items to the event.

Travel information

· All registered participants will receive a free one-day UniLink Dayrider bus ticket to travel to and from Wide Lane Sports Grounds. The ticket can be accessed via the UniLink app the day before the event.

· Participants must have signed up to this event by 12:00 on Monday 2 June 2025 to receive the free UniLink bus ticket.

· You must bring a change of clean clothes to be able to use the bus ticket on your return. You will be unable to board the bus if covered in colour.

Important information

· The event is open to University of Southampton students and staff only (valid student / staff ID and University email required).

· Event subject to cancellation due to extreme weather conditions

· Cancel your space if you can no longer attend to allow others to register.
