Colour Run 2020 - Forget Me Not Children's Hospice

Our Colour Run is the perfect event for all the family!

Run, walk, jog or dance your way around our colourful course!! Along the route you'll be covered in our bright and colourful paint powder and you'll get to the end looking like you've just taken a trip through the rainbow.

Bring along friends and family to cheer you on! Food, refreshments, face painting and more will be available on-site throughout the afternoon.

What does the ticket price include?

- Entry

- Colour Run T-Shirt (if purchasing after Sunday 30th June t-shirts can be collected on the day subject to availability)

- Colour Run Medal

What time should I arrive?

The Colour Run site will open at 12.00pm for registration.

Feel free to join us from 12pm onwards. 2pm will be the grand start, so you need to make sure you are on-site, registered and ready to go before then.

There is easy access from the M62 and other main routes with limited on-site parking in the field adjacent to the course. We encourage our supporters to car share where possible. Everything will be clearly signposted and there will be marshals to direct you once you arrive.

What is the plan for the day?

The Forget Me Not Zone will have a merchandise stall available for you to purchase any last minute paint packs, tutus and the all-important neon sunglasses before the run starts!

The Refreshment Zone and on site-cafe and bar will be open throughout the event for all your food and drink needs.

We'll have a fun warm-up at 1.45pm and then at 2.00pm it's time to get colourful as you run, jog, walk and dance your way around the course!

At 3pm once everyone has finished, it's time to celebrate with the PAINT PARTY!

Afterwards you can take a breather and enjoy the Refreshment Zone and Forget Me Not Zone until 4pm when the event closes.

How do I get my Race Pack?

Your Race Pack will include your t-shirt and any pre-ordered merchandise and can be collected from certain Forget Me Not shops. You will receive an email when they are ready.

Any tickets purchased after 30th June will be able to collect their pack on the day *subject to availability on sizes*.

What about sponsorship?

We're asking all our colour runners to raise at least £20 each. When you register, you will receive a confirmation email along with your tickets - it will include a link to our new Colour Run sponsorship pack. It includes everything you need to know and how your £20 will make a difference to our children and families.

I can't make it anymore. Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Whilst we can't refund tickets, you are welcome to give your ticket to someone else to run in your place.

Please send us an email to events@forgetmenotchild.co.uk with the full details of the person who will be running instead of you.

What should I wear?

Be sure to wear your t-shirt and other clothes that you don't mind getting too messy (the paint is washable but may take a few washes before it comes out and may stain pale colours - so we don't want you to take any chances!).

Most importantly, make sure you have some sensible footwear. The course is mainly grass, so there could be mud and potentially slippery terrain. It is suitable for adventurous buggys and wheelchairs too, although be aware the course is off-road and not tarmacked so if you have any doubts please contact us for more information.
