Colour Run - Volunteering Opportunities - Forget Me Not Children's Hospice
Date and time
We are in need of an army of wonderful volunteers to help with our Colour Run event with a variety of roles.
About this event
Can you help support on the day of our flagship event.
We are looking for volunteer support to help with a variety of roles at our Colour Run event.
In 2019 the Colour Run event raised £26,000 for Forget Me Not Children's Hospice, every single penny of which went towards helping the local children with life-shortening conditions and their families we support. Due to the pandemic we were unable to run the event for two years, however, in 2022 the event is back and with a new venue.
Help us bring the colour back and volunteer your time and skills to help us put on this amazing fundraising event.

Frequently asked questions -
Can I volunteer for more than one role throughout the day?
Yes, if you would like to volunteer for multiple roles please email events@forgetmenotchild in order for the event manager to ensure the multiple roles can be worked alongside each other with timings and logistics of the park.
I would like to volunteer, however I will struggle to get childcare, can my child volunteer as well?
This will depend on the child's age.
Anyone 14 or above can volunteer as long as we have consent from a parent or guardian. If you would like to volunteer and bring your children (under 14 years old) along with you, they cannot register as a volunteer and will not be given a volunteer role, they can attend with you, however, they are your sole responsibility, please consider whether you can fulfill the volunteer role as well as look after the child. If you are unsure and want to discuss please contact us.
I am unable to stand for long periods of time, is there a role I can support with?
There might be measures we can put in place in order for you to be able to support still, please contact us to discuss which role might be suitable.
