Exciting Chemistry to delight and fascinate the young audience of future Chemists.

About this Event

This lecture demonstration will explore some processes in chemistry which either produce or use light energy under four themes of "reactions", "combustion" and "rates" with lots of colourful and sometimes dramatic demonstrations - with the occasional whoosh and even bang!

The presenter has a wealth of experience in designing and delivering educational and entertaining demonstration lectures.

Presented by Dr Peter Hoare, Newcastle University.

The event is FREE but TICKETS are needed.
