Event description

Description

Colourful Semantics is an approach often used in Schools around the world to support your children in the development of their language, iteracy skills and particularly their grammar.

The approach has 4 key colour coded stages. There are further stages for adverbs, adjectives, conjunctions and negatives.

  1. WHO – Orange

  2. WHAT DOING – Yellow

  3. WHAT – Green

  4. WHERE – Blue

You can read more about the approach on our website here and here

This course will be useful to you if you can answer yes to any of these questions:

- Is your child or young person using colourful semantics at school?
- Would you like to understand the approach more and begin using it in your home and during community activities with your child?
- Book onto our colourful semantics course for parents and carers where we shall help you understand the approach and why it can be so successful for your child
- we will send you away with a starter kit to use in the house and during their chosen activities
- We will put you in touch with other parents and carers
- We will also offer you ongoing support - helping you to access further resources useful in the home and to answer your questions once you start using the approach at home

Our course is the only approved course by Alison Bryan so you can be sure you are learning the correct techniques and principles.
