Colours of Tomorrow

Welcome to Colours of Tomorrow by The Crochet Collective!

Come join us at Bembe Cafe for a crochet workshop as part of Chorlton Arts Festival.

Explore the climate emergency and possible futures through collective making. How do we feel? What liveable future do we want to see for our families and communities?

Make an individual motif inspired by the theme or add more stitches to one of several shared pieces. Choose shapes, colours and textures to reflect your mood. Let yourself be inspired!

Help us join the contributions into a collective textile piece. How, where, when and why should we display it?

Use hooks, yarn and assistance from our pool of common resources and facilitators. Please feel welcome to contribute to this in any way you feel able.

The booking fee covers the cost of venue hire. Workshop facilitators are volunteers. For further questions please contact Jo, jojay9999@gmail.com
