Colwell Loop - 14 miles

Multi-options walk! Taking in iconic landmarks and beautiful coastal scenes this walk has it all! Offering four ‘take the bus back options’ (Alum Bay, Freshwater Bay, Yarmouth and Fort Victoria) this allows you both long, medium and short versions of this walk.

*Please note, unfortunately Sue is unable to take walkers along the sea wall at Totland as hoped as it is currently blocked off for walkers so will be cutting inland for this section. Multi-options walk! There will also be a number of stops along the route.

Length of walk: 14 miles (approx 8 hours)

Walk Cost: Voluntary donation to Macmillan Cancer Support (£5 suggested donation - cash on the day).

Walk Leader: Sue Russell

Type of Walk: Circular

Pace of Walk: Leisurely - This walk will follow a leisurely pace. Request from Sue to please follow the pace she sets.

Walk grade: Fairly Strenuous - A challenging walk, suitable for fit walkers with some experience. Steep gradients, stiles and steps and uneven surfaces to be expected.

Walkers need to be reasonably agile and mobile. Not suitable for walkers with mobility impairment of any kind
