The songs are all world premieres, written under the supervision of distinguished Cardiff University composer Dr Arlene Sierra. They will include original poetry, personal recollections and other texts combined with expressive, colourful and powerful music for soprano and harp.
The recital will be followed by a post-concert talk including composers, musicians, and the poet - James Nash - alongside social science researcher (Professor Jenny Kitzinger) who conducted the research which informed the composition and poetry.
