Come and Sing Messiah Workshop with Hilary Davan Wetton
Event Information
About this event
Join amateur choral singers for this one-day choral workshop in beautiful, leafy Putney, to explore and perform Handel's Messiah! Hosted by Putney Festival, the Come & Sing day will include singing, vocal tips, teamwork and a performance – all in the company of other musically minded people and under the expert direction of eminent conductor, Hilary Davan Wetton.
You don't have to have choral experience, but an ability to read music is useful. Ticket price includes the day workshop AND the opportunity to perform in the concert (tickets for concert audience members can be purchased separately).
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided on the day. Please bring a packed lunch and then in the longer break before the concert, a supper will be provided from the hugely popular St Margaret's 'Lunch on the Lane' series... but this time a delicious supper!
