"Baskin is a brand new Inclusive sport invented in Cremona, Italy in 2003. The objective was to create an activity where literally everyone – girls, boys, the able and those with physical or mental challenges to overcome – can participate in and enjoy fully to the best of their abilities."
BASK: stands for basketball, because the goal is to throw the ball in the basket. IN: stands for inclusion/integration because everyone can play together in the same court at the same time. CADMuS, the Cambridge Disability Multisport club are hosting two "Come and Try Baskin" sessions on Saturday 15th and Saturday 29th April. Everyone is welcome to come along and try this amazing new sport.
