About this event

Spirituality • Christianity

You are invited to a quiet, reflective online retreat exploring the theme of waiting through the lived experience of disabled people and the season of Advent.

This is a gentle, spacious day created by disabled for disabled people. There is no pressure to be on camera, to speak, or to produce anything. Just time to rest, reflect, and be together.

We will share in readings, quiet creative practices, and theological reflections on waiting, not as a passive or frustrating absence, but as a deep act of presence, faith, and dignity.

If you have signed up by Friday 21st November, then you will receive a retreat box with optional materials to support your engagement on the day.

Whether you live with chronic illness, neurodivergence, mental health conditions, physical or sensory disabilities, this retreat is for you.

All who identify as disabled are welcome.

This event is organised in partnership with YouBelong, a Christian community aiming to connect, support and empower chronically ill and disabled people.
