This 1 hour training is the introduction to the Come Correct Condom Distribution Scheme (CDS) in Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham (LSL).
This training equip LSL professionals working with young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively signpost young people onto the C-CARD (CDS) Scheme.
After this training course participants will:
•Identify what a Condom Distribution Service is and it’s purpose
•Recognise the common barriers that may prevent young people from using condoms
•Gain an understanding of local STI statistics
•Describe the benefits of condom use
•Describe how and where to signpost young people to appropriate services for their sexual health within the local area
This training course is FREE to professionals working with young people in Lambeth, Southwark or Lewisham.
Please note that some trainings will be held online and some will be in person. Event location details will be provided 2 weeks prior to the training.
