Come Correct Training (C-Card) for Barnet Professionals

Come Correct is the name of the condom distribution scheme available to young people across London, you may also have heard it referred to as C-Card. This training will set you up as a distributor of free condoms as well as someone young people can talk to about sexual health and relationships.

After this training course participants will:

•Understand the C-Card scheme and how it operates.

•Gain skills and knowledge to be signed off as C-Card distributors

•Be able to demonstrate best practice condom use

•Gain an introductory level of knowledge in safer sex topics such as contraception and STIs

•Be able to explain the Fraser Guidelines, confidentiality and Sex and the Law.

There are four C-Card training sessions per year; only one session needs to be attended. There are also two refresher C-Card training sessions per year.

PLEASE NOTE: This training course is FREE to professionals working with young people in Barnet. Priority will be given to professionals working in these areas.

This is an online session and will take place on Zoom. A link will be sent out closer to the time of the session, please make sure the email address you provided is accessed before the session. If you are booking more than one person on the session you need to ensure their email address is provided. If your organisation does not enable the use of Zoom, personal devices can also be used. Due to the topics we will be discussing participants may want to use headphones.
