Ricky Balshaw
Ricky is a quick-witted, slow walking, fast rising star, Ricky Balshaw is without question, the funniest Paralympic Dressage medallist in the UK, perhaps the world. Stepping over his cerebral palsy like it’s the mildest of inconveniences, Ricky pulls his audience into a joyfully dark world of self-depreciating hilarity. No sympathy vote is needed (or accepted) as Ricky dominates comedy stages up and down the UK. A brilliant joke-smith and storyteller, this young man has comedy greatness in his bones.
Bethany Black
Bethany Black is a comedian, actor and writer. She has been performing for over 20 years and has supported many acts on tour including Joe Lycett and Paul Sinha. Blessed with a sharp tongue and a desire to overshare she's been critically acclaimed for her personal, confessional style of comedy. Just as comfortable performing in a small room as in a stadium she has travelled the world and is a regular at some of the biggest clubs in the UK. You might know her from Mock the Week or 8 out of 10 cats, but that's just your mind playing tricks, despite regularly being praised for her appearance on those shows she's never appeared on either, she has been a panelist on "Sorry I Didn't Know " (ITV) as well as "Sarah Millican's Elephant In The Room" (BBC Radio 4) and was a guest on "Rosie Jones - Box Ticker" (BBC Radio 4). She has had leading roles in television shows such as Cucumber, Banana and Tofu by Russell T Davies for Channel 4 for which she has won awards, she was also a guest star in Doctor Who and played one of the series baddies in No Offence. She has written for TV shows such as Frankie Boyle's New World Order and Mummy's Big Queer Do as well as written jokes for many of the guests on your favourite panel shows.
Hannah Byczkowski
(pronounced Bitch-Cough-Ski, which she, surprisingly, has not been traumatised by) is an up and coming full-time comedian who wears her heart on her sleeve, and makes sure everyone has a good laugh with it. From observational and relatable material, to unbelievable stories, Hannah is making exciting waves on the comedy circuit. Quick witted and hilariously compelling, Hannah has been named a ‘powerhouse performer who has grabbed live comedy by the scruff of the neck who has given it a jolly good kicking!’ by one of London’s biggest comedy promoters. Hannah won the first season of BBC1’s “The Traitors” and since transmission, she has been featured in many news articles, online and in print. Hannah is co-host of the hit podcast Ghost Huns, with over 4.3 million all time listens and 1.2 million TikTok followers. in 2024 they embarked on their first UK Tour, an Edinburgh run and sold out Bush Hall with their Halloween show. They have collaborated with Really’s Paranormal Nights, Ghostbusters & Life is Strange. Hannah featured in NatWest’s Scamvent campaign in November 2024 and has also worked with Archers. She’s also appeared on Celebrity Weakest Link and as Gemma Collins in ITV Stand Up Sketch Show.
Philip Simon
Professional comedian Philip Simon has been entertaining audiences around the world for over 2 decades. During lockdown he created the hit children’s comedy show School's Out Comedy Club. He has been seen/heard on BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and BBC Radio 4 as part of the BBC New Comedy Award.
