Ali Cook will be headlining the show
Ali has just finished appearing in “Impossible”, the world’s greatest magic show in London’s West End as part of the show’s world tour. His anarchic mix of comedy and magic has made him a headliner on the UK comedy circuit. Ali fooled Penn & Teller on their show “Fool Us” and, yes he did fool them! He has also appeared on many other TV shows and is a member of the Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star.
Kate Smurthwaite appears at comedy clubs all over the UK and at major clubs around the world. Her show “News at Kate” has been a feature of the Edinburgh Fringe since 2009. In 2013 she won Three Weeks Editors Choice Award as one of the 10 best things about the Edinburgh Fringe. Kate often guests on news and debate shows such as BBC 1’s “Question Time” and The Big Questions” as well as radio phone ins. She is one of the writers on “Have I Got News For You” as well as a number of publications. “a powerhouse of observational wit” The Spectator
Rik Carranza is the only Scottish/Filipino comic on the UK circuit, drawing on both his upbringing and his passion for films and superheroes to create sets that seamlessly blend observational humour with musical comedy. He has reached the semi-finals of Scottish Comedian of the Year for the last 3 years. Rik has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe for the past five years and in 2015 he took part in comedy festivals in Australia as well as appearing at the Billabong Comedy Club.

John Ryan mixes East End savvy and Irish charm – you can almost see the twinkle – He connects with all sorts of people from all sorts of backgrounds. John’s acute observational eye and dry but razor-sharp wit can react to any situation. John is an experienced warm-up act for TV shows and tours the world doing comedy on cruise ships.
