Local hero and star of the "Bring Back The 80s" Podcast, James Alderson will host this fantastic evening with a star studded line-up:
Maisie Adam
Maisie Adam is fast on her way from being one of the brightest rising stars of the UK comedy scene to becoming a household name. Since winning the nationwide So You Think You’re Funny? competition in 2017, she has won Best New Act at the Chortle Awards and the Amused Moose National New Act gong, as well as being nominated Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe for her debut show ‘Vague’. Maisie's anecdotal material and witty charm have quickly won her praise across the country, and she has since appeared on various tv shows and podcasts.
Dani Johns
Dani is a quick‑witted, brutally honest Bristolian "pocket rocket" of comedy who effortlessly captivates audiences with her high‑energy storytelling and cheeky delivery. A rapidly rising star on the UK circuit, she’s equally at ease delivering sharp stand‑up sets, charming crowds as an MC, or delivering memorable voiceovers and her versatility has taken her from comedy clubs to festivals, high‑end corporate gigs, and even spoof commercials. A proud co‑director of the Best in Class initiative, she’s committed to amplifying working‑class voices, and her writing and on‑screen skills have seen her featured in TV dramas, commercials, and the Guardian. Whether she’s riffing on "Turbo Island" or holding a mic in hand, Dani brings warmth, wit, and a sassy spark to every stage.
Ria Lina
Ria Lina is a fearless, razor‑sharp British comedian, actress, and writer whose stand‑up boldly blends observational wit, intelligence, and social insight. A onetime winner of the Best Comedy award at the Greater Manchester Fringe and runner‑up in the Funny Women Awards, she has taken multiple shows, such as School of Riason and Dear Daughter, to the Edinburgh Fringe, earning critical acclaim and even featuring one of Dave’s Top Ten Fringe jokes. With major TV credits including Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, and QI, she brings a unique, provocative lens to themes from race and neurodiversity to culture and current affairs
We look forward to seeing you there!
