~ Coming Into Your Own ~ is a residential personal and professional leadership development program designed for women.
We are all leaders in our own lives with influence on others professionally, in our families, and in our wider circles. Cultural norms in our society are evolving, and mainstream definitions of leadership and success are under examination surfacing questions such as:
Could my professional and personal values be more powerfully aligned?
What might greater personal and professional sustainability make possible?
Women are more likely to invest in relationships that build social capital and the well-being of the whole system. They are more likely to collaborate, listen deeply and take a long term view that values process and people as much as completing the task in hand. Coming Into Your Own supports women who are up against the challenges of succeeding in a male paradigm that recognises these skills, but often undervalues them. This program explores the leading roles women are playing in a powerful process of renegotiating worth.
About the program:
In practical and insightful ways this residential program identifies the unique contributions women are making in the larger, complex dynamics currently at play in our world. The program undergirds each participant’s ability, privately and publicly, to step more fully into her own unique leadership capacity and take responsibility for what truly matters to her.
Highly participatory and interactive, this program focuses on each woman’s individual journey, her current opportunities, challenges and transitions. Using coaching tools, group dialogue, interactive exercises, reflection and leadership models, participants will:
Receive pre and post event phone calls to enable tailored content and follow up
Explore the ages and stages unique to women’s lives and how this has impact
Learn and use the “four leadership stances” to access untapped resources
Identify barriers that prevent full authentic expression
Take next steps towards emerging opportunities and address challenges
Increase personal and professional capacity to live daily life, fully engaged
