As part of LGBT History month and Careers Network’s Work Experience Week, we are exploring how the LGBT community has changed over time and the impact this has placed on career prospects.

Hear personal stories from professionals about their experiences of making successful applications, developing their careers and coming out at work:

Benefits of attending:

  • Explore a range of job areas and what it's like coming out at work – we have professionals across different sectors sharing the ups and downs of their career journey and an insight into how they came out at work.
  • Expand your knowledge and learn about LGBT-friendly employers – learn from others regarding how they decided on their profession, the steps they took to get there and what the environment/culture is really like.
  • Listen and have your voice heardyou’ll have the opportunity to discuss in small groups about how the future of work is changing and how employers need to adapt to the needs of the LGBT millennial generation.
