Dr Jak Beula is a British entrepreneur and cultural activist who founded the Nubian Jak Community, memorialising the contributions of African Caribbean people in Britain. He is also the designer of the African and Caribbean War Memorial in Windrush Square, and the NHS Black Nurses and Midwives Statue outside Whittington Hospital in North London.
