Link Up online workshop.

Thursday 24 June 2021 from 10am – 12 noon (online via Zoom)

Cost: free of charge

Booking deadline: 5pm, 17 June 2021

Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, our Link Up Project aims to strengthen voluntary third sector governance and skills development, by helping trustees and board/committee members to become more confident in their roles.

If you are a committee member of a community, charitable or voluntary organisation you have legal liabilities and responsibilities of which you may not be aware.

This workshop is for committee members / trustees/ Directors of voluntary, community and charity groups and organisations.

We all need to update, develop and refresh our knowledge and awareness over time to:

  • confidently and efficiently run your organisation;
  • understand and mitigate your legal liabilities as a committee member (legally known as a trustee); and
  • meet your responsibilities.

No matter how experienced you are as a trustee, or how long you’ve been a member of your committee, there are lots of new developments in the world of charity governance in Wales that you need to keep abreast of.

By the end of this short and interactive workshop you will understand:

  • what roles and responsibilities you have;
  • how to limit potential risks;
  • the principles of good governance;
  • the roles of specific officers.

This is an ONLINE session via Zoom (we can help you to access and install Zoom IN ADVANCE of the event if you need support to do that).

Your link to the Zoom session will be sent to you before 21 June.

Cost: yn rhad ac am ddim

Dyddiad cau archebu: 5pm, 17 Mehefin 2021

Wedi’i ariannu gan Gronfa Gymunedol y Loteri Genedlaethol, nod ein Prosiect Lincio Lan yw cryfhau llywodraethu gwirfoddol a datblygu sgiliau gwirfoddol, trwy helpu ymddiriedolwyr ac aelodau bwrdd / pwyllgor i ddod yn fwy hyderus yn eu rolau.

Os ydych chi'n aelod o bwyllgor o gymuned, elusennol neu fudiad gwirfoddol mae gennych rwymedigaethau a chyfrifoldebau cyfreithiol nad ydych efallai'n ymwybodol ohonynt.

Mae'r gweithdy hwn ar gyfer aelodau pwyllgor / ymddiriedolwyr / Cyfarwyddwyr grwpiau a sefydliadau gwirfoddol, cymunedol ac elusennol.

Mae angen i ni i gyd ddiweddaru, datblygu ac adnewyddu ein gwybodaeth a'n hymwybyddiaeth dros amser i:

  • rhedeg eich sefydliad yn hyderus ac yn effeithlon;
  • deall a lliniaru'ch rhwymedigaethau cyfreithiol fel aelod o'r pwyllgor (a elwir yn ymddiriedolwr yn gyfreithiol); a
  • cwrdd â'ch cyfrifoldebau.

Waeth pa mor brofiadol ydych chi fel ymddiriedolwr, neu pa mor hir rydych chi wedi bod yn aelod o'ch pwyllgor, mae angen i chi gadw llygad ar lawer o ddatblygiadau newydd ym myd llywodraethu elusennau yng Nghymru.

Erbyn diwedd y gweithdy byr a rhyngweithiol hwn byddwch yn deall:

  • pa rolau a chyfrifoldebau sydd gennych;
  • sut i gyfyngu ar risgiau posibl;
  • egwyddorion llywodraethu da;
  • rolau swyddogion penodol.

Sesiwn AR-LEIN yw hon trwy Zoom (gallwn eich helpu i gyrchu a gosod Zoom IN ADVANCE o'r digwyddiad os oes angen cefnogaeth arnoch i wneud hynny).

Anfonir eich dolen i'r sesiwn Zoom atoch cyn 21 Mehefin.
