Event Details

The Council on 5 March 2018 will be considering a new Scheme of Governance, one part of which is a new committee structure, which has been developed to reflect the design principles of the Target Operating Model. The new committee structure has sought to improve the Council’s decision making system by being more efficient and more focused on outcomes.

If approved, the new committee structure will come into effect from 1 April and as a result there will be a change to the committee to which you are reporting to. The sessions have been arranged to provide officers with the opportunity to seek clarification on the new reporting arrangements, in particular to discuss with relevant officers, which committee they should now be reporting to.

This is not a formal training session, however is intended as more informal setting to enable your specific queries to be answered by the Committee Team.  In order to help facilitate the session, it would be appreciated if any questions could be submitted in advance to the following address committeeservices@aberdeencity.gov.uk. Information on the new structure and reporting arrangements will also be available on the Committee Reporting pages on the zone following 5 March and in advance of the sessions. Please note Lync Q&A sessions will be available on the following dates and more detail on this will be available on the zone in due course.
