Event description
A practical and reflective day for therapists and practitioners to explore an Embodied Approach to working outside with clients.

About this Event

This day is for practitioners already working outisde with clients who want to cultivate a more Embodied Approach, and for practitioners who want to begin working outside in our broader nature with clients.

During the day we will explore grounding, embodied presence, relationship with place and people, creating a safe therapeutic space, ways of working outside, reciprocal relationship and thresholds. The activities of the day will happen both inside the spacious village hall and outside as part of the living, changing ecosystem of trees, birds, sky, insects, weather, soil, air, plants and animals.

The group is open to 10 practitioners and participants need to be able to walk on uneven ground and be outisde in changeable weather conditions.

We will respect safe distancing and follow Covid guidelines throughout the day.

This day is offered by Ally Stott, Ecotherapist, Mindfulness-based Psychotherapist and wild swimmer. Ally brings a Wholearth Approach to her life and work which is in service to the deep wellbeing of people and planet. She has been working outisde in our broader nature with goups and individuals for over 10 years and offers mentoring to other therapists exploring this work. www.allystott.co.uk www.ecotherapyoxford.co.uk
