BMI The London Independent Hospital are holding a FREE online health seminar for GP’s, Practice Nurses and Allied Health Professionals discussing Common Spinal Conditions and Their Management in the current Coronavirus pandemic and beyond. Mr Syed Aftab and Mr Ahmed Sadek, Consultant Spinal Surgeons at BMI The London Independent Hospital, will host a live online education session aimed at healthcare professionals treating patients with Common Spinal Conditions, either remotely or face-to-face.

About the Speakers
Mr Syed Aftab, Consultant Spinal Orthopaedic Surgeon
Syed is the Clinical Effectiveness Lead for Orthopaedics at the Royal London and is actively involved in teaching other doctors, nurses and allied health professionals. He organizes the ‘Spine Term’ for the Royal London Hospital and Sir Percival Pott Orthopaedic Rotations.
About the Speakers
Mr Ahmed Sadek, Consultant Neurosurgeon and Spinal Surgeon
Mr. Sadek approaches spinal problems from all angles utilising the multidisciplinary approach to achieve the best possible results for patients. He works very closely with orthopaedic spinal surgeons, pain specialists and physiotherapists. He treats all spinal conditions from the cranio-vertebral junction to the sacrum.He has a particular interest in acute spinal conditions such as disc prolapse, radicular pain, neck/back pain, sciatica as well as myelopathy and spinal tumours.
