Common Threads - Bristol

We all write, wear and walk- we all have Common Threads...

Join us for our Bristol writing workshop in the first phase of our Common Threads project.

This project endeavours to bringing people together to discuss the journeys we make and the clothes we wear when we make them. You will be guided through a number of poetry writing exercises, that will lead to the creating of a wearable poem.

You will have the chance to explore new ideas in the beautiful Prior and meet other creatives. With your agreement we will use the words you have written and integrate them into a hand made coat weaved with the words you have created with us. Together we will create a unique pattern for a jacket that will be brought to life with the unheard team.

After the workshops you will be kept up to date with the project and receive updates and pictures of the coat, and hopefully see it in real life if it returns to Bristol!
