This workshop will predominantly focus on how to create engaging social media content while also touching upon the themes of campaigns, posters and video editing. These topics have been selected based on survey responses from community groups the Hub has worked with. In the Autumn, the Hub will run a bigger comms workshop to go into more depth on desired topics. Your input during this workshop will contribute towards the larger workshop.Through the Hub's work with community groups, many have expressed a lack of capacity but a desire to learn more about digital communications to support their work. This workshop is designed to give practical support to community groups and enhance your knowledge and skills. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
The workshop will take place in the Red Room at David Livingstone Birthplace - this is the large room at the back of the cafe. Tea, coffee and refreshments will be served at the event.

David Livingstone Birthplace has flat and accessible paths around the grounds and there is access to accessible toilet facilities in the cafe.
Travel:
David Livingstone Birthplace is less than a 10 minute walk from Blantyre Train Station.
Blantyre is also well served with buses, you can plan your journey at Traveline Scotland
There are also several bike racks at the venue.
A visitor car park is also available at David Livingstone Birthplace.
