Together we face unprecedented challenges for the environment, our communication and engagement sector, our audiences and our organisations. Yet together, against the odds, environmental communicators continue to collaborate on innovative ways to connect people and nature - reaching across audiences, breaking down barriers, and amplifying a wide range of voices and actions for nature. The Communicate conference has been running since 2004, bringing together professionals from across the UK to define, debate, and share best practice. It’s a place to gain inspiration, work together on new initiatives, build your networks and forge connections.

A note on 2025 ticket prices
Communicate is produced by The Natural History Consortium, a charity and collaboration of 13 organisations passionate about connecting people and nature. We fundraise throughout the year to ensure the conference is accessible as possible, and tickets are subsidised by a minimum of 50% each year by our partners and sponsors. We are pleased to offer 3 day online access for £25 (+VAT) in 2025, holding prices for the third year running. We have listened to your feedback asking for more ways to involve community and marginalised voices in the event, and have made the decision to raise in-person conference fees from £75 to £85 (+VAT) this year. 100% of these additional fees will go towards creating a bursary programme for at least 30 people across our 3 day event.

Refund Policy
Refunds can be requested up to 4 weeks before the event.
After this date, refunds will not be given. However you are welcome to pass your ticket onto a friend or colleague. If you are transfering your ticket, please let us know by emailing communicate@bnhc.org.uk so that we can update our delegate list.
All refunds will be minus the Eventbrite booking fee.
