From conversing with an employer or members to organising and campaigning, communication is a core part of any trade union representative’s role. This skills-based course aims to provide reps with the tools and confidence to communicate coherently, and creatively. This is delivered as a two-day course in the classroom, which will involve written and practical tasks that challenge reps to think about how they communicate in different scenarios.
How long is the course?
This course will be delivered over 2 weeks in a classroom every Friday.
How much is the course?
There are no course fees for union reps from TUC affiliated unions.
PLEASE NOTE: This course is for residents of England only. This course will be delivered by The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London. Please be aware that funding restrictions in some areas may mean that a college cannot accept your application: if this is the case you will be notified which college to reapply to.
