About this event

Good communication – crafting and delivering clear and appealing messages – is essential to campaigning. Participants will learn how to successfully use powerful framing, narratives and stories and communication channels for campaigns. They will learn how to successfully identify and reach different key audiences.

The online workshop will show how to develop powerful stories for campaigns; Learn about examples of effective campaign communications, know how to choose the right channels and messenger and learn the essential ‘dos’ and ‘don’ts’ of campaign communication.

Participants will:

• Understand how to develop powerful framing, narratives and stories for campaigns

• Learn about examples of effective campaign communications

• Know how to choose the right channels and messenger and learn how to use different channels together to complement each other

This workshop will be led by trainer Emma Burnell, a campaigns and public policy professional with nearly two decades of experience who is also a talented and highly sought after writer and commentator.

*Those taking this course through the campaign carousel will be offered a 2-hour workshop the following day to look specifically at your communications plan and messages.
